First floor corner unit easy access, no need to wait for elevator or walk up stairs. Neighbors to the right of me and on top of me are two young couples who are quiet with no pets, no stomping or loud parties.

10 min walk to Kew Gardens- Union Turnpike train station to get the E of F express and also easy access to the Q54 and Q10

Up the block on metropolitan avenue and 118 street, there is a fruit stand with fresh vegetable, a small supermarket, good coffee shop, a couple descent 99cent stores, 3 pharmacies, and a bank. One block up from Lefferts and metropolitan there is more shops and a couple other restaurants.


Rent is $1700.00, electric is costing me about 50-60$ in the winter and maybe $150 in the summer with AC on. Natural gas power for stove is very cheap maybe 10-15$ per month. We have optimum for internet and also Verizon if you prefer. The super is very helpful and he's pretty cool, always available via text if you have an issue. This is an old pre-war building so the exterior and the lobby have some charm, attention to detail was made in the moldings and tile used. The unit itself has very high ceilings and high closets, good for storage.

The bedroom easily contains my king sized bed, the kitchen was remodeled and renovated prior to my arrival 4 years ago. The bathroom is large and spacious. Living room is massive. 5 min walk to forest park , 3 min drive to Jackie Robinson parkway.

Landlord has allowed a lease break if I find a new 12 month tenant to sign a new lease but advised me I would forfeit my security. I am considering a sublease for the remaining 6 months to avoid losing that money. I am moving out on the road to travel and I’d like to be out of here soon so at this point I may end up going with whatever option allows me to vacate sooner. Prospective tenants must qualify financially whether they apply through the building for a 12 month lease or apply through the tenant for a sublet
