Submit an application at www.renttheforge.com [must hit "APPLY" then choose "INDIVIDUAL"] and all supporting documents directly to The Forge to qualify for the assignment of the lease. The app fee is $20 for the leaseholder and the guarantor, if needed, which is non-refundable. The supporting documents from the leaseholder and
guarantor are as follows:
• Copy of your government issued photo IDs
• Filled out and signed Authorization form to Release Records
• 2 most recent pays-tubs OR 2 most recent years of tax returns if self-employed (yearly compensation
or AGI must be 40X the monthly gross rent or 80X in case of a guarantor)
• Most recent complete bank statement from leaseholder and guarantor
If and once approved, assignor(s) & assignee(s) would be signing hard-copy assignment documents and returning them to us. If signing is occurring outside the leasing office, the documents/signatures must all be
notarized.
