Hi,

I am looking for a professional roommate (female preferred) in a luxury high rise building! My current roommate is buying her own place, so I am looking for someone to take on her lease or sign a new lease from March 1st 2015.

It a large bed room 11.3 feet x 17.4 feet, with wall to ceiling closet on one wall and gorgeous views of the East River and uptown Manhattan.

Rent is approximately $1700 and includes gym, heated indoor pool, sauna, jacuzzi, steam room, running tracks, indoor rooftop lounge and roof deck! Electric and internet are separate and come to roughly $100 per month. You can get your own cable, if needed.

I am a clean, friendly, female working professional and I am looking for the same in a roommate. I have a healthy social life, but I do not bring the party home. No partying or drama (you can take friends up to the rooftop lounge), shared common area chores and keep common areas clean. Occasional guests/ friends are ok. No smoking and no pets (owners rules)!

Shared area includes a living room (13.5x 9 feet), a kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and a lot of closet space and a bathroom. Laundry in the building. Please see pictures attached.

It is great for NYU/ Bellevue residents, fellows or faculty (my last roommate was from NYU) or United Nations staff as it is on 1st avenue and close to 34th street.

Walking distance from the subway (Grand Central Station, 10 mins away) and 2 mins away from cross town (all the way to 11th ave) and uptown/ downtown buses (very frequent, convenient and much cleaner than the subway!)

It is a great place, I have lived here for 4 years and I love it! I am not looking for a new best friend, but someone cordial and nice makes for a better roommate!
