This apartment is the nicest place I have ever lived: it's really peaceful and has a great atmosphere. The best thing about it is the huge roof deck, which has gorgeous views across downtown Manhattan. No one else has access to it. Inside, the apartment gets lots of sunlight, and it's very airy and mellow. One of the rooms leads directly out onto the deck.
The building has laundry in the basement and a live in superintendent who's friendly and very efficient, and there's laundry in the basement. The location is great - between Nolita and Little Italy (walking distance to Soho, East Village, Lower East Side and Chinatown -- lots of delicious restaurants and great bars nearby.
