Gorgeous, huge bedroom in a 2 bed share in the East Village - just seconds from the 1st avenue L train for easy trips West or into Brooklyn! Union Square 15 min walk away with connections to most of the subway lines up and downtown.

Really great, prompt and accommodating management takes care of the whole building if you ever have a problem, no matter how minor. We also have the holy grail of the laundry in the building - and, not only that, machines are always free!

You would be taking over my room in a lease that runs through May 1st at which time you could apply to take the apartment on yourself if you so wished (no fee). Sharing with a wonderful girl (31) who made my move here the best (I'm from the U.K. originally!) and whom I'll be staying friends with when I leave!

A very chilled vibe in the house - often my roommate is out working late or having dinner/ drinks with friends in the week and is often out of the house quite a lot at the weekend too at the gym or brunch or drinks or whatever. But when we're together it's to watch a bit of TV together and chat about the day. We don't bring the party home ever - the apartment is our oasis!

Rent is $1894 a month which includes everything - gas, electric, water, cable, internet. I always thought it was a really good price for the size room it is. This is the smaller room in the apartment but feels like the size of most masters I've seen in other apartments. The rest of the apartment is also fairly large. Good size lounge and bathroom, with separate kitchen. We have 2 sofas in the lounge and a good size TV with Netflix too.
