I got a job in California and we have to move out, so I’m looking for someone to take over my apartment. It would be available April 1.

The apartment is a newly renovated (we were the first to move into it upon renovation) two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment. The front of the apartment has large windows and a door that open up to a spacious private outdoor patio. The bedrooms are next to each other in the back of the apartment, while the full bathrooms are on opposite ends (one next to the bedrooms, one near the patio). Both have toilets + shower/bathtubs.

The living room/kitchen are combined in an open kitchen plan. The kitchen has a new, large fridge, induction oven/stove and a dishwasher, with ample storage space.

The building has laundry in the basement. The apartment is on the fifth floor and is a walkup. The building also has a rooftop, although not sure why you’d want to use it since you have a private patio all to yourself.

The apartment is in Crown Heights, about 5 minutes from the 3 train at Nostrand Ave, 10 minutes to the 2/3 and 4/5 at Franklin Ave, and about 15 min from the A/C/E at Nostrand Ave. Pets may be OK.


I can send better photos to anyone who is interested on Saturday, as I’m currently traveling but back this weekend. There are no fees. I’m the current tenant posting this on behalf of landlord as trying to find someone to take it over when I break my lease, so I would personally cover any application fees.

We are flexible with options so you could take one room (and my current roommate could stay) for $1700 for three months to July 1; you could sublet the entire apartment for three months to July 1 for $3400 a month; or you can take over the entire apartment and sign a new lease starting April 1.

I have a few furnishings that I'd be willing to sell cheap to incoming tenant, if desired (couch, TV stand, table, microwave)
