This is a newly constructed building in 2018- we were the first occupants of this unit. Super airy common space that gets fantastic light all day (especially in the winter, having great light from sun-up to sun-down is great). Unit is on the fifth floor- this side of the complex has an elevator; washer/dryers in the basement right off the elevator. The building also has a beautiful rooftop, which management has been slowly building out. They've added a bunch of seating last summer/fall, and I believe the plan is to put a resident-use BBQ up there in the spring.

If you have a car, this building has a parking garage, which is crazy rare in Bushwick. If you're not a driver, the building is one block away from the Myrtle J/M/Z, so you're on the train about 2 minutes from leaving the building.

Your roommate is a very chill, tidy early-30s doctor. He works a lot, but when he is home he's super personable, and is willing to hang out or let you have quiet time.

The apartment is pet-friendly; I've been living here with my cat, so I'm sure my roommate would appreciate a replacement furry friend if you have one.

Incentives

The rent for this unit in the lease is $1600/mo per person. The posted rent of $1360 is net-effective for the balance of this lease through a deal I've worked out. We already have half-rent in June, so the rent schedule will be:

February- $1500
March- $1500
April- $1500
May- $1500
June- $800

This nets to $1360/mo over the takeover.

Additional fee

Management has a fairly standard $50 fee for the application/credit check. The full move-in cost would be this $50, plus a security deposit ($1600) and your February rent ($1500).

I am not bringing any furniture with me to LA, so anything in the room is up for grabs- if you come see the unit, feel free to let me know if you want anything. Great bedframe with underbed storage; a large Ikea desk, an entertainment stand, even the TV that's in the room is up for grabs.
