Hello!

I am theatre producer who is traveling for the next few months and am The timing is flexible and could be available for just December OR December, January and February.

Here are some details:

APARTMENT and BEDROOM
Located in Bushwick. It is right around the corner from the Knickerbocker stop on the M and is also a 6 minute walk from the Dekalb stop on the L.

The apartment is 3 bedrooms, 1.5 baths across two floors. The available room is on the same floor as the kitchen, the main bathroom and another bedroom. The two bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment, so there is privacy. The third bedroom is downstairs in the basement - this roommate has his own half bath and only uses the main bathroom for showering.

There is also a washer and dryer in the unit. You still have to pay to use it, but is incredibly convenient for the colder months! The apartment is on the ground floor and is accessible to a garden in the back.

My bedroom is fully furnished with a bed, dresser, closet, desk and bookshelf. I will also have linens, towels and blankets available if you would like to use them.

There are a lot of restaurants and stores in the immediate area, including a 24 hour bodega that is stocked with decent groceries and plenty of vegan and organic options (if that is your dietary preference).

ROOMATES
I live with two roommates - one is a female, Sophie* in her early thirties and works as a professional organizer. She has been in the apartment for over 7 years. As a result of her profession, she is incredibly neat and organized so we are looking for someone who is willing to follow that lead and help keep the place in shape. She has two friendly cats, so you must also be ok with cats. I let them into my bedroom when I am there, but you can easily keep the door closed and they will stay out of your way. My other roommate, Robert* is a male in his late twenties who works in wine distribution. He lives in the downstairs room. He is quiet and keeps to himself. Both are incredibly easy to live with and I have been very happy in the apartment.

I am in my early thirties and work in theatre as a producer and manager. My job takes me away a lot, which is why I am hoping to sublet my room for this time. I am charging less than what I pay as I will have some of my things in there. We can work out the best way to manage this depending on how much stuff you have. I am also open to not asking for a deposit as long as I can find someone reliable, trustworthy and clean. This amount includes bills.

I will follow up with the same to make sure you are comfortable. I have subletted my room twice this year already, and both times I found great people who got on really well with my roommates. It is a great stepping stone if you are just moving here or in an interim place in life.
