Property Details

Sad to be leaving this place, but happy for the next person to swoop in! What I love most is the south-facing floor-to-ceiling windows. You get sharp sun rays in the morning to wake you up, and a glimpse of the sunset to the west in the evening. The unit is a horseshoe shape, so even though it's a studio you still get sensation of separation between the various spaces. It's also at the end of a long hallway, so it's super quiet and peaceful. Your neighbors are incredibly friendly, as is the desk staff and maintenance team. It really feels like a small community. There's a lot to like.

As for the neighborhood—what a spot. This is Prospect Heights Historic District, and the local brownstones are tree-lined blocks are gorgeous. The 2, 3, 4, 5, B, D, N, Q, R, C, and G are all a short walk away, as are both Fort Greene and the north part of Prospect Park. Vanderbilt Ave and Fulton St are both bustling, even in the midst of a pandemic. There's plenty of food delivery options and cute little shops to check out. It's the perfect mix of the more residential and quant characteristics of historic Brooklyn, and the convenience of being downtown-adjacent.

This building is rent stabilized and prospective tenants absolutely must be able to provide documentation to confirm they meet the income requirement for a studio, viewable here:

I'm moving out January 30th. You would be taking over the remaining term of my lease (ends March 28th) and likely be able to renegotiate a new arrangement once it expires.
