Having relocated outside of NY for work, I am looking to transfer the lease on a charming and very reasonably prized 2BR railroad-style apartment in the heart of Williamsburg .

* the apartment
1 block from Lorimer L and G train and 2 stops to Manhattan. The apartment is of medium size and features 2 BRs, 1 shared bathroom, a kitchen and connected common area. the space gets light from both north and south-facing windows (although the centre of the house gets dimmer light than the rooms), and has hardwood floors throughout making for a cozy atmosphere in those winter nights! the apartment is on the 3rd floor overlooking a leafy and quite street.

* the area
The area is walkable, low trafficated, vibrant and upcoming with many dining opportunities within walking distance. Also walking distance is McCarren park with pool, track, and dog parks

* The rooms
The spacious and sunny master bedroom features two south-facing windows, which ensure great direct sunlight in the morning, and a spacious closet. There is also a smaller room overlooking a leafy inner courtyard which is perfect for a lounge/office area, but has also been used as a second bedroom (It has a mid-size closet). there is a third closet in the common area, so overall a good amount of storage space.
The apartment is currently semi-furnished with one queen size bed, double (designer) red drawers, ikea work desk and chairs, several shelves, huge (designer) dinner table, and an ikea futon (all are visible in the photos). I would be happy to sell all or part to the new tenant or arrange to remove if necessary

The building is a 6-unit and features laundry facilities and a common courtyard which can be used for summer dinners and events

The apartment will be available from December 1st. The current lease expires on 31 March 2021, but the landlord is looking to extend further after that. the apartment is rent-stabilized
