This unit is the LARGEST unit in the entire building.
Our apartment has BEAUTIFUL views of Manhattan and Brooklyn visible from every room, with floor to ceiling windows.
It's been amazing working from home as the sun shines all day and it feels as if I am working in the sky.
We were the only resident of the unit since the building was built and we take our cleaning very seriously, so the apartment still is very brand new!
The apartment comes with custom shades so you do not have to worry about blinds.
Livingroom & Kitchen : Caesarstone counter tops and marble backslashes, custom Italian cabinetry, and stainless steel appliances. The apartment comes with movable island, which comes in handy.
BOSCH Washer and Dryer in unit, and there is a large laundry room in the basement when you need to use larger machines.
Master bedroom features giant walk-in closet (it literally can be converted to an office area), and can see terrific views of manhattan. The bedroom can probably fit King size bed, and a huge office desk. That's how big the room is.
Bathrooms : Both of the bathrooms have beautiful tiling that is very easy to clean, and with good water pressure. Plumbing in this apartment is exceptional in general.
Amenities : This building takes EXTRA caution in response to COVID-19 and the pandemic.
Every resident who uses the gym MUST sign up for a specific time slot, and between each slot the facility is closed for cleaning.
Upon arrival to amenities area, every resident is checked for temperature. The outdoor area is massive and awesome to do a workout in a safe way as well.
The amenities area features 75-foot year-round lap pool, lushly landscaped sundeck and lawn, grilling cabanas, a fully-equipped gym & yoga studio, bike storage, indoor and outdoor movie screens, programmed events in the club lounge (paused during pandemic), a dog run, children's playroom, party room, and library.
Additionally, there is an amazing sky lounge and terrace with breathtaking panoramic views on 53rd floor.
LOCATION of this apartment proved to be even better during the pandemic. you can order whatever you want to eat, and whatever grocery you want to get delivered. Trader Joe's is only a few blocks away, although there is always a long line. Having the package room and front desk is seriously GOLD for getting deliveries.
Lastly, the building management is amazing.
They are very responsive to any requests and questions you have. They responded to COVID-19 pandemic in the most excellent way.
When there was an influx of packages that overwhelmed the package room, the building quickly reallocated gym staff to assist with packages so that residents can receive packages smoothly.
Front desk workers are all very lovely, and the maintenance workers are EXCEPTIONAL.
I mean they will fix everything and anything with a smile.
We are very sad to have to leave this apartment because we loved living here. We have lived in various rental building in manhattan, but this one tops it all. You won't be disappointed!
