We’re sadly leaving our beloved two bedroom/1bathroom apartment to move back upstate and would love for someone to either sublet until February 2021 or sign a new lease at $2,585 a month (no fee!) Move-in time is flexible, lease can be signed anytime between now and November 1st.

The apartment is on East 81st street between York Avenue and East End and is Conveniently near the 2nd avenue subway, Carl Schulz Park, and the East river.

This railroad apartment is a fifth floor walkup and upon entering is the living room/dining room area. To the right is the kitchen with plenty of counter space and dishwasher/full size refrigerator and bathroom. To the left is a small hallway with a big closet (deep shelves that go high up) with additional storage above both doors. The first bedroom (on the smaller side, but can fit a full size bed) we currently use as an office but would also serve as a great nursery. Apartment has hardwood floors throughout. The street and building are both quiet and the onsite super is responsive whenever we’ve had a problem.

Agency pays for heat and hot water. Tenant is responsible for electric (on average, we pay $130 a month during the summer with the AC blasting and $60 a month the rest of the year).

Additional fee

Applicant must make 48x the monthly rent or have a guarantor who makes 80X the rent. Will also need $20 non refundable application fee, recent bank statement, employment letter stating salary/position/length of time employed, and reference letter from current landlord. Upon signing lease, we (the current tenants), will give you $500 as a thank you!
