Large 1 bed / 1 bath with a separate office room that we use as an office / guest bedroom and has been great in the recent work-from-home environment. Washer/Dryer in unit (which we love!). Large floor-to-ceiling windows in the living room that wrap around one corner. Good sized kitchen with a breakfast bar and updated appliances. All modern, updated finishes throughout.
The building is also very nice and the staff/community around it are all very friendly, good people. It has a great communal rooftop space with sun-loungers, tables/chairs, sofas etc. with a superb view north towards midtown. You can rent this space out for private events if you ever want to – we have thrown some great parties up there in our time. There's a big communal space on the ground-level with a pool table, big TV, etc. that you can also use casually or reserve. There’s also an outdoor pool on one of the lower levels with more loungers. There is a big laundry room on a lower level if you ever need it but remember the apt has a W/D in-unit. Lastly there’s a Crunch gym that’s part of the building – it’s not included in the rent but you can get a cheap rate on it as a resident (there’s an Equinox down the street and every workout studio you can imagine within a few blocks, if that’s more your jam). The building is in a great spot in Tribeca - perfect location close to all the restaurants/bars, close to SoHo, as well as the downtown office district. We walk everywhere.
We absolutely love the neighborhood, building and the apartment - have lived in the building for 4 years now and upgraded to this latest apartment about 2yrs in when it became available since it’s an amazing space for the price (the office / extra room is great without paying 2-bed prices and I’m not sure how we ever survived before without a washer/dryer in-unit). We are only leaving since we bought a home and can’t justify keeping this on as well. This really is a great apartment and we'll be very sad to leave (writing this out has only made me sadder!)… if you’re looking to live in Tribeca around this price point, you’ll be hard pressed to find a better spot.
