Come stay in our modern Brooklyn loft, located in the heart of Dumbo. Our apartment is nestled within a refurbished 19th century shoe factory and has beautiful exposed brick, high ceilings and lots of charm with very modern finishes. In addition to the 14-foot-ceilings, our place has a washer and dryer unit in house, a disposal and dishwasher, a walk in closet, an additional coat closet and plenty of cabinet space for additional storage.

The building itself is luxurious, quiet and full of amenities. You'll have a doorman, a complete gym (with two Pelatons and two Mirrors!) and a gorgeous roof with two grills, spacious outdoor seating for relaxing and staring at the Manhattan skyline, as well as an outdoor fireplace.

We are a short, 5-minute walk to the subway, which takes you to Manhattan in just one stop. We are minutes from the waterfront and park with great options for dining out, delivery, fun bars and well-stocked bodegas and grocery stores.

The apartment is close to the action, but a perfect refuge for recovering from the city.

The space:

This is an upscale luxury building in Dumbo. It has one of the largest -- and most beautiful -- lobby spaces in Brooklyn and Manhattan. Many people think it's a hotel when they walk by! The doorman our wonderful and extremely helpful. Our apartment is an 800-square-foot studio with the perfect layout. The bedroom is nestled away in its own space, so you can't see it from the living room or kitchen if you don't want to make your bed. The closet has so much storage space for winter coats and lots of places to hang or fold your clothes and tuck your suitcase away. Our bathroom has both a shower and bath (perfect for relaxing after walking around the city all day!) We love the charm of living in an old shoe factory with the modern features so that we can do laundry when we make dinner or watch TV. We had custom shelves put in and our TV pulls out, so you can turn it and watch when you are cooking in the kitchen (or eating takeout from the table!).

Guest access:

You'll have full access to the gym, which has treadmills, ellipticals, full sets of weights, machines, two Mirrors, two Pelatons, a separate yoga studio and a place for your kiddos to hang! You can have packages delivered to the doorman and pick up your mail. There is also a garage and storage units available if you want to park your car or stay a while!

Overview:

Dumbo is a hip Brooklyn neighborhood with the best views of Manhattan. The neighborhood has lots of great little shops, but it's mostly a refuge from Manhattan's craziness. You WON'T hear cars or street noise in our apartment, so you'll be able to get some sleep at night!

Getting around:

The F train is one of the best subway lines, giving you quick access to Manhattan's East Village, West Village, Chelsea, and Midtown. With one transfer you can also get to JFK, or the Upper West side. There is no better line in Brooklyn OR Manhattan for covering a lot of ground, because the F runs through three boroughs, and goes North, South AND East West. Its also not liable to shutoff all the time like the L!

Renting requirements:

The application fee is $20, which we will cover, and our building requires a criminal background check. We have a two-year lease and can work with you to ensure that you can stay for as long as you want! We can only have one tenant per 12 months, so ideally we'd give preference for whoever can stay the longest.

Incentives

Will consider reduced rents for a six month commitment pared with a August movein. We will cover your background check fee of $20 requird by the building.
