Property Details

It is a one of a kind property, 54th floor means that the views are just amazing. In a clear day you can see Manhattan, East River, Brooklyn, Bronx, La Guardia, Queens, Long Island, JFK, Verrazano bridge, Staten Island, Statue of Liberty, New Jersey, etc. just going from one room to another.

We loved the place, the views, the amenities, the location: next to everything (wholefoods and other shops right there; movies; restaurants, etc.). It takes less than 15m to get to downtown Manhattan and less than 30m to midtown; BQE right there; LIRR, etc.

The property management company are extremely nice and professional.

Note that it is a 2 bedroom but prior tenant added a wall to the office and we used it as a third bedroom.

Incentives

The price provided is us subsidizing about 30% of the rent until September. On your end it will go up but considering the market it is quite likely you will be able to work out a deal with the landlord upon the renewal whereby they agree to price reduction through free month(s); it was standard in the building when we moved in 15 months ago, even more so now that the rents are going down all over the city.

Note that it is a rent controlled building which means that if you wills stay long term the price won't go up much (if any) in the future.
