Hi all,

I plan to sublet my large Williamsburg bedroom for June 2020 (with the possibility of extension into July), and I'm looking for a clean, responsible, single person to move in over that period. For context, I am stuck at home in New Zealand awaiting the outcome of a visa application and for travel restrictions to be eased.

I live on the second floor of an apartment building with one other wonderful, and very health-conscious female roommate. Our apartment is newly renovated, warm, quiet and in a very safe area. It is only two blocks from the J/M train at Hewes Street, 3min from the G train at Broadway, and about 7min from the L train at Metropolitan. Restaurants, cafes, movie theaters and supermarkets are all within walking distance.

My room has two, large windows letting in lots of natural light all day long. It is furnished with a queen-sized bed, a desk, a bedside table, bookcase, a wardrobe/cube storage for clothes and an air conditioner. There are curtains in the room that are not shown in photos. There is a separate, shared lounge with a new, foldout couch, two armchairs and a dining table and chairs and a large, modern kitchen. The bathroom is shared with only one other female roommate. It is the perfect room and apartment in which to sit and ride out Covid-19.

If you are planning to be in New York over this period, considering moving to Williamsburg permanently and want to try it out for a short time, or just want some space due to Covid-19 this might be a great opportunity for you. The price excludes all utilities (WiFi, gas and electricity) which come to $100 per month.
