Furnished room available for flexible move-in May 15/June 1 in a 3br/1ba apartment in the heart of Fort Greene. Midway down a tree-lined block, this bedroom has a built-in closet and a window overlooking the tree and plantings outside. There are hardwood floors throughout, and a dishwasher(!) in the fully outfitted kitchen. You'll be sharing a living room with lots of windows and sunlight, and a large bathroom. The building is small and cool, where everyone gets along well as most of us are very long-term tenants.


- Rent is is $1300/month, which includes all utilities 
- $1300 security deposit + first month's rent to move-in
- Looking for someone who can do at least a 3-month sublet (through August 31), with the option to renew/take over the lease Sept 1

I'm (30s F) working upstate for a long-term project, so I'm subletting my room through the end of the lease. I'll also be taking my dog with me (you may have seen her in the corner of some photos). Currently, there's only 1 other roomie (late 20s M) at the apartment, as the other (late 20s M) is away in FL through the summer. 

Fort Greene is a diverse, lively neighborhood with tons of restaurants, bars and coffee shops, not to mention the Fort Greene Park Greenmarket every Saturday, Greenlight Bookstore, and all of the arts and culture you could want at BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music). Walking distance to several grocery stores, laundromats, gyms, and all the trains (N, Q, R, B, D, G, C, 2, 3, 4, 5, LIRR), with buses at the end of the block, and bike lanes throughout. There's also a good amount of street parking that's not too difficult to get into. You're also near Fort Greene Park and Prospect Park, which offer some of the most incredible outdoor spaces in the borough.

Bedroom furnishings include a full-sized bed, nightstand, shelves, wardrobe, A/C unit. The rest of the apartment (living room, kitchen, etc.) is also fully furnished/outfitted.
