Awesome 1 bedroom railroad style apartment with big sunny living room, 4 large closets, entire front wall of windows, big bedroom, big dining room and large kitchen with tons of storage and big L shaped counter. Bathroom is off the kitchen, has a great window, bathtub, all tiled. And there is a backdoor to...the backyard.
Backyard was lovingly updated by us, trees trimmed, vines trimmed (there is tons of ivy, it is awesome), table and chairs from previous tenant, new wood tabletop by us, grill will be left behind as well. Various backyard maintenance tools are in the hallway for your use.
Neighborhood - two blocks from Franklin Ave with all the restaurants bars/ etc, 10 min walk to the Franklin Ave 2/3 4/5 S, or A/C in the opposite direction. Grocery store, bars, bodegas and restaurants max two minute walk in all directions, 24 hr laundry across the street, it's seriously a great spot.
Unfortunately we must move before our lease is up, so the remainder of our lease needs to be taken over by someone from March 1- July 31 (2020). There will be an official rental application for you to fill out, form of lease transfer to sign, and the last month and security will be paid to "buy us out" ($3,800). All rent will go through landlord and any desire to stay in the apartment past July 31 will be a new lease / extension you would make with the landlord (once we sign those forms we are out of the game, this isn't a sublet situation).
Rent is $1900 (heat and hot water included) with $80 gas charged through the landlord, so total payment each month is $1980. They have an online platform to schedule automatic payments and to post any repair notices you may need.
