Property Details

I'm moving and have to leave my lovely apartment off of Franklin Avenue in Crown Heights. I moved here because it's an excellent commute into the city; the 2,3,4,5 is within a few blocks, and the S is literally across the street, which can take you to Bed-Stuy and Prospect Park. The C at Franklin Ave is also 5 to 10 minutes away walking. An ideal move-in date is around the end of January/beginning of February.

The unit is on the 2nd floor and is a 2 bed/1 bath. The living room is big and divided into two spaces. You would be in the bigger bedroom, which has two windows, a fire escape, a bucolic view, and is away from the sounds of the streets. You've also got your own hallway, which I've basically used as an extended closet. The building was just renovated two months ago and we have been the first tenants since then. Beautiful hardwood floors, brick wall in the living room, high ceilings. No pets, regrettably.

The lease is until the end of July, with option to renew. The room will be unfurnished but I can leave behind some stuff if you prefer.

Your roommate is an MFA student at NYU and is an ideal roommate -- clean, respectful, welcoming, and kind. Also, the photos are from when we just moved in so things were still being moved around at the time.

For those not familiar with Franklin Avenue, it's a fun, active part of town with a lot of young professionals and families. There are restaurants and bars right round the corner. My neighbors leave their bikes outside in the patio with no problems. I've lived in several different neighborhoods in Brooklyn, and this place, by far, has been the best.
