• Why are you moving:
o I will be moving for a new job and need someone to take over my lease. Your lease would begin as soon as Jan 5 and would last at least 6 months, 12-month lease options are available, with the possibility for renewal. A later start date is possible, but I am looking to have it filled by that time.
• About the place:
o The room is part of Common Living’s “Grand” Home. Included with your lease is access to shared facilities such as a kitchen equipped with stainless steel GE appliances, a living room with premium furniture, TV with Netflix & more included, a community lounge in the basement with 4 washer and dryer units, a backyard, and a roof deck! All shared spaces are professionally cleaned weekly, and necessities (such as paper towels, toilet paper, soap, laundry detergent), are included with the membership. On top of all this cool stuff, Common along with members, regularly organizes events for people to bond, socialize, and have a good time!
• About the location:
o If you work in downtown Manhattan or Brooklyn this location is about as convenient as it gets! Using the C train located at Clinton Washington Ave., it takes me roughly 25 minutes door-to-door to get to Fulton Street in Manhattan. There is also a G train located not too far away on Classon Ave. for your crosstown needs, and B25/B26 bus service on Fulton & Grand.
o For your Groceries you will you find one of the best KeyFood’s (IMO) in NYC is located only a 5-minute walk away on Fulton, or you can have whole foods delivered from the 3rd street location. But you will hardly need to as there are many good restaurants, bodegas, and bars on the block that you will meet your needs!
o If you’re looking to go shopping, Fulton mall is located only 2 stops away at Hoyt-Schermerhorn, there you will find major retailers such as Century 21, Macy’s.
o If you are looking for a workout, gorgeous prospect park is only a 15-minute walk away, or you could go to the numerous CrossFit locations nearby!
