Spacious 1 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment on the first floor of a three apartment building located in Astoria offered for sublet. January 1 - May 31 but dates flexible on dates based on your needs and would pro-rate rent for partial months. A block away from Singlecut Brewery, a grocery store, and laundry. 2 blocks away from Ditmars Blvd (restaurants, bars, etc). About a 10 minute walk to the N/W at Astoria/Ditmars Blvd train stop. Ample street parking if you have a car.

I have to travel for work and would like to find a respectable individual/couple looking to sublet. A cat has lived in this apartment and I'm assuming the landlord would allow another. However, lease states no dogs. The person/people subletting would need to submit application and credit check to management company.

Pictures attached. The apartment is currently furnished with a queen sized bed, two dressers, a couch, a dining room table with 4 chairs, a piano and other furniture. If interested party wanted any/all furniture during the dates of subleasing, it's yours no charge. Anything that you didn't want I'd remove from the apartment. There's a private backyard. It's been neglected since the summer, but by no means an eyesore. I can fix it up before you move in if that's something that you'd like.

All these measurements came from me and a measuring tape, but my best measurement says the apartment is 450 square feet. There's an additional storage space not included in that measurement.

Rent is $1925/month. I currently pay $45/month for internet. Heaters are floorboard heaters and you have control over temperature during winter. Last year, I didn't pay more than $100 for heat during the coldest month, but it all depends on how warm you like the place. I've put some weatherproofing on the windows/back door/air conditioner wall nooks which has allowed me to not to turn on the heat yet this season.
