Our beautiful 1425 square foot, two-bedroom apartment at the corner of 10th Avenue and 54th St in New York City is six years old. This is a secure doorman building. On the ground floor our apartment opens onto our private 456 square foot patio (great for pet owners) that opens into a secure inner courtyard that is landscaped with trees and terraced. The Zen-inflected design is elegant and minimalist. There are two light-filled bedrooms each with their own (en-suite) bathroom and memory foam mattresses (a King in the master and a Queen in the second bedroom). The second bedroom has its own 50" (4K Ultra High Def) wall mounted TV. The kitchen is fully equipped (of course.) The living room has an ultra-suede couch and there is an audiophile-grade stereo system as well as a 65" (LG-OLED 4K) television with all the expected bells and whistles. There is high-speed wireless Internet throughout the apartment and patio. There are three separate heating and AC zones. We have three full bathrooms. The private outdoor space is airy, 456 square feet, and secure. It contains an “L Shaped” couch (5 ft by 10 feet) and a 12-foot dining table with 6 chairs and an electric barbecue grill. (You can smoke outside but not inside) We have two bikes you can use. The building has a private Gym with exercise equipment. The building is quiet and safe. As you can see from the map it is close to MOMA, Central Park, Lincoln Center, and the Restaurants and Theatre district of Midtown. Hudson River Park is two blocks away and provides a thrilling bike ride, run or walk from The George Washington Bridge to Chelsea. We expect to spend the summer of 2020 at our COuntry Home and this is why we would like to sublet our apartment. The Condo Association only allows sublets of at least 6 months. For that reason we would be able to make the apartment available for 6 months to a year, furnished (beautifully) or unfurnished, or partially furnished.
