The utilities cost per month is $50-60 per person.
Subway: Adjacent to City College campus, the building is a 5-minute walk to the 1 Train station, or a 10-15 minute walk to the ACBD at 145th St. Best for those without a car, as nearby street parking can be hit or miss in terms of availability.
Transport Time: From the building to destination, it’s a 30-35 minute commute on the 1 train to 59th St/Columbus Circle not including delays.
Nearby: Fumo, The Grange, Oso, ROKC, Food Universe, Duane Reade and Home Sweet Harlem are very close and a Laundromat is just around the corner. Located across from the Fire Department, next to an elementary school, and multiple churches, the building has a residential atmosphere with several families living here for over 25 years.

Early 30s Female. Professional Opera Singer and rehearses in the apartment during mornings/afternoons while roommates are at work. Out or studying/doing independent work in the evenings. Omnivore, and lives a primarily gluten/dairy free lifestyle by choice. Respectful, likes reading, yoga, optimal living, quiet time, Netflix, relaxing. Generally keeps to self due to full commitments artistically. That said, she is committed to creating a warm, friendly, safe home environment where all roommates interact harmoniously while living independent lives.
Mid 20s Male. Lab Tech working at Columbia University. He will not be staying much longer as the current female roommate is looking to achieve a female-occupied apartment.
Early 30s Female. Respectful, quiet, kind roommate who is responsible and punctual about rent and bills. You work a regular 9-5 at a company in the city with consistent hours (i.e., you depart at 8 am and return before 10 pm). You’re a light cooker who doesn’t cook past 10 pm, and you like to go out on the weekends. You’ve lived with roommates before. You’re respectful of noise, boundaries, and shared/common spaces. You clean regularly and/or agree to a monthly cleaning fee. Perfect for a busy professional.
Cannot accommodate students, couples, or pets.
Non-Smoker and sorry, not 420 friendly.
Room/apartment will be available April 1, 2019.
