Why are you looking for a renter?
I am very excited to be moving in with my boyfriend! Unfortunately, my lease is not up until Jan 13, 2020 and so I am looking for someone who would like to take the remainder of the lease with the option to renew with my landlord at the end.
What do you love about this place?
It is honestly the best apt I have ever lived in. It is on the 30th Floor with unobstructed northern exposure and views of the Manhattan skyline and downtown Brooklyn. The apt gets incredibly beautiful and clear light... even on the cloudiest and rainiest of days! It is very peaceful here.
Storage is fantastic as I have a large closet in the bedroom and a huge walk in closet by the entryway. There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom and a dishwasher in the kitchen which also has excellent storage - I own literally every kitchen appliance known to man and they all fit neatly away in the cupboards!
The building staff are incredibly nice and efficient and with Atlantic Terminal just downstairs, you cannot get more convenient! Most train lines are within a block or two from the building and you are at the point where some of the best South Brooklyn neighborhoods start - Prospect Heights, Fort Greene, Clinton Hill, Boerum Hill and Park Slope!
Regarding the rent - the current rent on my lease is $3720/month and when comparable apts are available in my building, new leases have been around $4000/month or a little higher. The building has been offering 1 month free on new leases which bring the NET effective rent down to about $3700 and so I am offering a concession to bring your monthly net payments down to $3450/month until the original lease expires. What that means is once everything is finalized and the lease is re-assigned to you, I will give you a check for $270 x the # of months remaining on the lease that you took over. You can then use that to offset your monthly payments and then renegotiate a new lease with the landlord in 2020, if you so choose! I hope you like this deal!!
Oh - and I can also offer it with most of the furniture for a separate price!
