Hello!
I’m looking for a female roommate for the larger of the 2 bedrooms to sign the 1 year lease with me starting May 1st. The current lease is up April 30th.
I'm female, pretty easy going, drama free, and very clean and tidy. I can keep to myself or socialize so if we get along and hang out once in a while even better.

I've been in NYC for 5 years and happily call it home. I've lived 4 of those years in this apartment which I love!

Communication is important when it comes to taking scheduled turns cleaning the common areas, and if any friends/partners are stopping by. My working hours of M-F : 9-6. I usually socialize outside the apartment rather than bring people over. I don't have any pets, don't smoke, and don't do any drugs - and wish the same from a roommate.

About the apartment:
Large bedroom available in a cute, spacious apartment with very high ceilings.
The room dimensions are about 11' x 10' with 3 windows.
The new roommate would co-sign a one year lease, but there won't be a broker's fee. You would just need pay security deposit (1 month's rent) and $75 application fee at signing. Heat and hot water is included. Electricity bill & internet is split.

The apartment is on the 5th floor walk-up, but it faces the back so it's protected of the street noise.
There's a virtual doorman, a gate and 2 doors, and security cameras on each floor.
The shared area is furnished with a couch, a coffee table, a dining room table, a side table, a liquor cart and a chair. Open to add more furniture. There's an imbedded wall shelf to share.

The bedroom for rent is the larger of the two, and both are situated on opposite sides of the apartment far away from each other. The bedroom also has an AC included and curtains. There's an open kitchen with a dishwasher and oven and microwave.

The closets are off of the side of the dining area, and the new roommate will get the larger closet. There's a deep closet for storage up top (I store my luggage in there) and the main closet underneath.
