far enough away from Times Square that you won't have to deal with the noise or tourists at all,

Your roommates would be 2 young male software engineers (< 25). Both are quiet and clean, one's pretty handy around the house, and they're both great roommates (I've lived with one of them for nearly 4 years, and the other for 2). Board games and hobby projects abound. Not asocial either though, we've hosted several parties in the apartment and on the roof deck.
