I'm leaving my apartment at the end of February, so I'm looking for someone to replace me in a 3-bed, 2-bath apartment in Astoria starting on March 1, 2019!
The apartment is on the top floor of a modern (built in 2007) building and boasts a terrace, a balcony, and modern furnishings, including a wonderful modern kitchen with a gas stove. The room itself has a space for a through-the-wall AC unit and a massive window that lets in lots of light! The room also has a spacious closet, and can easily fit a queen-size bed. The building is on 36th Street, between 30th Avenue and 31st Avenue - very close to excellent restaurants along 30th Avenue, and a 5-7 minute walk to the N/W at Broadway or 30th Avenue, and to the M/R at Steinway Street.
You'd be living with two other guys - one is in his mid-20s and works as a consultant, and the other is a finance professional in his early 30s. They keep things clean and they keep largely to themselves, though they're never ones to say no to hanging out.
The room will be $1,233.33/month - in the last two years I've lived here, we haven't had a single rent increase. There is also a security deposit equivalent to one (1) month's rent ($1,233.33), payable to me before you move in. Utilities (heat, electric, Internet) are not included in rent, and are split evenly amongst the tenants. I currently have a brand-new through-the-wall AC unit installed that I am willing to sell to you, so you don't have to bring one with you.
If you are interested, please respond ASAP - we need to get the application process done and have the lease renewal signed before the end of February!
