The room is spacious and can easily fit a queen bed, desk, and dresser, and has a built-in closet. It has great light and is very quiet, as it looks out on the lovely backyard patio (access through my room) and neighboring gardens. There is free laundry with brand new machines in the basement. Rent is 1200/month, plus utilities (average $60/month each). The landlord is really nice and very attentive, and the neighbors are very friendly.

Close to beautiful Pratt University campus. Lots of coffee shops and bars nearby, as it's a very up-and-coming part of Bed-Stuy. Herbert Von King park a couple blocks away, and close to the Bedford-Nostrand G, Fulton A/C, and Franklin Ave Shuttle, as well as the B44 SBS and several other bus lines.

You'll be moving in with a 30-something Special Ed teacher who's creative, liberal, and does her share of chores. She's been living in the apartment for the past few years and has a great relationship with both the landlord and the neighbors.
