I'm relocating to the West Coast for work, and looking for someone to move into my wonderful 1 bedroom on March 1, 2019. You have the option to sublet for six months (until August 31, 2019) or sign a new 12 to 15 month lease. Building will offer incentives for longer leases.

THE APARTMENT: 1 bedroom, 1 bath-- great for a couple or bachelor/bachelorette pad. Living room fits a large sectional and desk, bedroom fits a queen size bed and a dresser. Ample closet space, hardwood floors, great lighting with floor to ceiling windows, and a balcony that looks out on a peaceful courtyard. Dishwasher in kitchen, shared laundry down the hall.

THE BUILDING: The apartment is on the fourth floor of a very nice luxury apartment building called The Dean. There's a doorman, elevators, beautiful rooftop deck (see pics), lounge, free bike parking, and gym. Garage parking is available for an extra charge. Most residents are young professionals. Pet friendly.

THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Crown Heights is a vibrant neighborhood with easy access to the city. There are dozens of of fun bars and restaurants within a couple of blocks, plenty of hip cafes, and quite a few bodegas and grocery stores (including a higher-end grocery store that's opening up on the ground floor of the building in March). Franklin Ave. A/C is a 5 minute walk way, Franklin Ave. 2/3/4/5 is about 8 minutes. Takes less than 20 minutes to get into Manhattan by train.

TERMS: Move in March 1, 2019, with options to sublet until Aug 31, or start new 12 to 15 month lease. I'm also selling quite a few pieces of furniture (queen bed and mattress, area rug, tables, night stand, entertainment unit), that you're welcome to buy off me to ease the move.
