I'm looking to sublet my awesome NYC penthouse bedroom from the beginning of January till the end of June (6 months max) while I am away on business.
The penthouse is located in the very popular 200 Water Street luxury building. It's newly renovated with stainless steel appliances and an updated bathroom. The best part about this place (besides being able to say you live in a penthouse...it doesn't get old) is that killer view from the windows spanning from 1 World Trade through Midtown (with the Empire State Building right in the center) and all the way to the East River! Since the place is on the top floor, it's very quiet. As for the building, it has a doorman, valet service, fitness center, tenant lounge, large laundry room, and a giant roof deck that is the entire length of the building. The roof deck is by far the best part about the building, especially during the summer with the city views.
I'm looking for a guy or a girl to sublet my room for 6 months max (beginning of January till the end of June) while I am away on business. You would be renting my furnished real bedroom, and the rest of the apartment would be furnished as well. I've furnished my room with nice furniture along with a memory foam mattress, so the quality is definitely there. I'm in the process of acquiring art, so the room should be even nicer by January! You would share the apartment with a 21 year old Italian guy who lives in the flex room. He's chill, friendly, and respectful.

Finances: No broker's fee! Rent is $2245 per month, so first month's rent and one month's security is what you need. Utilities (Electric and Internet) are fairly cheap.
