This is the most beautiful, spacious, and luxurious room in the entire house- 12 foot ceilings, original birthday cake detail, floor to ceiling windows, marble fireplace and more. It is roughly 400 sf and has open sliding doors directly off of the living room. The bedroom is furnished as shown in the pictures. Plenty of closet / dresser space, desk, and other storage space. A full bath is also on this floor next to the living room.

Aside from the bedroom, this is one room in a 2-floor, 2-bedroom, 1.5 bath duplex with a shared kitchen / backyard / bathrooms. Kitchen is on the ground floor, (has dishwasher, gas stove), and looks out onto the fenced garden, it's also stocked with all the supplies/spices/silverware you'll need while you call this home. In the warmer months, the garden is stocked with fresh vegetables and is well manicured.

The house is located half a block off of the Tompkins Avenue Corridor. Walking distance to the subway. 5 stops to manhattan on the A / C. 4-5 stops to Long Island City, Williamsburg, Greenpoint, to the north or Redhook, Park Slope, etc down south on the G. Busses are easy and can get you to Bushwick to the east or downtown BK to the west within a few minutes.

ABOUT ME:
I am moving out of the area, so I will not be around till the summer when I return to collect my furnishings. There is also a property manager who handles general recurring maintenance and emergencies, So aside from paying rent, you won't see or hear much from me!

The bathroom, kitchen and backyard are shared with one other roommate, who is a woman mid/late 30s, works a 9-5 schedule in manhattan, and enjoys writing and hanging with friends in the neighborhood after hours. She also has a well behaved pup that hangs out on the ground floor and in the backyard (her bedroom is on the ground floor).

OTHER BIZ STUFF:
This is for rent starting January 1st, you can move in as early as the 20th at no additional charge if you'd like to get settled before Christmas. Couples are ok. Utilities included. Considering there is another pet on one floor, more pets may be tough, although a cat may be ok.

Looking for a minimum commitment of 7 months, till the end of June or July, but I am flexible. Signed short term rental agreement, and deposit equal to one months' rent due upon move in.
