Hi there! I’m looking for someone to fill my fully furnished room on December 1st in a 4 bed/1 bath apartment on Franklin Ave in Crown Heights (with a bit of flexibility on the move-in date). The price is $1000 per month for the month plus utilities/wifi (~$75 a month) on a month to month lease with an additional $1000 security deposit to lock the place down.

The room you'd be taking is second biggest room in the apartment (about 11x15) and comes with a Queen-sized bed, drawer, lamp, and shelving (basically everything in the picture except for the chair and bedding). There’s also a separate walk-in closet with an included wardrobe for all of your extra stuff (perfect size for a bike) and a little balcony with roof access right outside your window. The room and the whole rest of the apartment gets incredible light and you get an amazing skyline view from the roof.

You’ll be living in the apartment with my three roommates: Cely, a Puerto Rican actress (she’s in Paris for the next couple of weeks), Jeremy, a fabulous local drag queen, and Nils, a singer-songwriter and musician. There's also a very shy but friendly doggo named Julius that you will love, so please be dog friendly. All three roommates are in their late 20s and enjoy the brunch/bar/drag scene in Crown Heights and beyond. They each have very active social lives outside of the apartment and pretty varied work/travel schedules so it’s definitely possible that you’ll have the place to yourself every once in a while – though we definitely like to say hi when we’re all around!

We're located on Franklin Avenue and Pacific Street, a great location right on the edge of Bed-Stuy and Prospect Heights. It’s just a ~4 minute walk to the Franklin C train and S Shuttle, a ~7 minute walk to the Nostrand A stop, and a ~10 minute walk from the 2/3/4/5 trains (100 transit score on WalkScore!). Prospect Park, Brooklyn Museum and the Brooklyn Public Library are all within a 15 minute walk and the best pizza you’ll ever have in your life (Barboncino) is 6 minutes away. There’s a laundromat two avenues over, organic grocery store right across the street, and dozens of bars/restaurants/shops around as well with really great prices.
