Clean building, with great (i.e. - responsive) maintenance services, trash/recycling rooms on every floor. Quiet neighbors and fairly sound-insulated apartments. Gym and rec room on top floor near leasing office. 26th story high rooftop with a literal in-your-face view of the empire state building. The building offers lots of great community activities including weekly yoga classes and a rooftop party at any big holiday (the 4th of July one is pretty great). Incredibly convenient location, subway entrance about 15 yards from the front door of the buildings (great in the snow). The herald square station has stops for the B, D, F, M & Q, R, N, W trains, and Penn station is only one block West. Within a couple blocks of both Madison Square Garden and the Empire State building. Plus lots of restaurants, shops, and bars in the area. Water is included, but utilities are not (avg monthly - $40).
